A really nice room in a nice bungalow. It is in a cul-de-sac so there was not traffic noise, handy as our room was on the front and it was warm so we had the window open all night.

The room was nice and comfortable. It wasn't en-suite which was not great but I did know that at the time of booking and apparently all the other rooms were.

Breakfast was nice and served in a lovely clean modern dining room.

Room tip: Lovely guest house

Great location......comfy rooms.....great cooking....and that "personal touch" feel.....From the moment Kenny greeted us at the door.....then gave us advice on the best place to eat and experience a "true Scottish pub"(Hootenannies)...and then served our breakfast before our departure....simply awesome!!!!!

I stayed at the Silverstrands for one night and it was great. Kenny is very friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and comfortable, and his food (or his wife's, rather) was delicious! I loved that he was in full Scottish dress for breakfast service. Small bathroom in my room but it works, good WiFi, and nice and close to downtown Inverness while still being out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Free parking outside. I'd definitely stay here again!

We stayed here 2 nights one at the beginning of the 500 and the night before our flight to Belfast. Kenny the owner is a very helpful host and he served us breakfast in his traditional Scottish attire w/ kilt. The rooms are a bit small but very well maintained and clean. The property doesn't have an open common room like most B&B's but the location was near the central city and parking was right outside the front door. The breakfast was very good and our stays were a good value.

Food was delicious! Rooms are very clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The house is not what you would call open or spacious (no common/social area), but if you're looking for 'a bed and breakfast' you won't be disappointed! ☺
Walking distance to all pubs and restaurants downtown! And Kenny recommended a fantastic pub for supper and live music 'Hootenanny' it was AWESOME live traditional Scottish music and the food was great! Wonderful stay!
