It was exactly as described - good size room, clean, quiet. There was free parking available on site. It was less than 5 minutes walk of the centre of Aviemore. Breakfast (I am a veggie) was excellent & substantial. And the landlady is just the best! Really friendly, welcoming & accommodating. Not a 5 star hotel - but then I wasn't looking for one - but a home from home. Just perfect for me.More

Taking safety measures
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Ellen was very helpful and the location is perfect for access to all the shops and amenities in aviemore. Can't really ask for any more

Great location, Ellen the lady who owns the Vermont nice and helpful.
The room did the job however the bed could of been more comfortable.

The utter jewel in the crown of this place though was meeting Ellen’s husband on the way out, wowwwww what a great guy. Could of talked to him all day. He said in 45 years he hadn’t been allowed to mingle with the guests lol he should be in charge he’s some character!!!!!
As soon as we arrived we were met with a very helpful and friendly owner. We were helped to our room and were told of all the things we needed to know. The room is exactly what you pay for - it is clean and well kept, with the necessities. My partner by mistake leant her hand on top of the wardrobe and we joked about how no dust whatsoever came off - how hygienic it was. This little cosy guest-house is around a 5 minute walk from the main bus station and the train station, however there is a bus stop located just across the road too. The owner offers a cooked breakfast as well. It is just a great stay and if you are looking for a good price - getting what you pay for and more - come stay at the Vermont Guesthouse. It was brilliant.

My partner and I found this B & B on way through Aviemore . We were made very welcome by the owner Ellon . This B & B is absolutely spotless, the room was well furnished to a very high standard and it was en-suite and the bed was very comfortable.We had an excellent breakfast cooked to absolute perfection and the owner was a very cheerful person .If your looking for B & B in Aviemore this is the place to go, you certainly wont be disappointed that's for sure. On our morning of departure we spoke to Ellon's husband George and he was a very cheerfull person too . We will definitely be returning to this beautiful B & B.

Decided to book a last minute snowboarding trip to Aviemore, unfortunately the Cairngorms were closed due to bad weather for the whole trip, but the stay here was fantastic. Owner looked after us brilliantly, my only moan would have been the breakfast, what you got was lovely, it just lacked a couple things like beans as an option (I know not everyone likes them) but would definitely recommend it and would go back.
