I had the smashed avocado and poached eggs which was incredible. Coffee was awesome. Huge, generous portions and really great quality food. The music was pretty loud and didn't really suit the place and the service staff weren't the friendliest but I couldn't fault anything we ordered. Delicious :)

Been here before but it’s been a while mainly because anytime we pass by to go in it’s full!
Popped in first thing this morning since me and my hubby still off work and where out walking our GSD.
Hubby had Stornaway tower while I opted for pancakes with berries. Both fab dishes and very satisfying. Left with full stomach’! The menu in here is limited but so many good choices freshly made!
Only downside is that it can be quite noisy in here but it’s worth it!

Visited on December with my family who had come to Glasgow to visit. We all loved the food and I’d definitely recommend the pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and blueberries. Only downside to cafe strange brew is that it is small and there is often a queue of people waiting to get in - not so great if you’re on a tight schedule, but definitely worth the wait if you have some spare time.

Followed a TA recommendation and had brunch here after a concert in town.

Doesn’t look much outside with the windows all steamed up but don’t be put off!

Very casual and stripped back interior but the coffee and food is superb! Has a bit of a Ski-type vibe. Great pancakes, poached eggs, avocado. Awesome bacon rolls.

Not to be missed!
