Great lunch at the Chip! Had the scrummy venison haggis with whisky sauce which made the dish...although I was charged more for it, for some odd reason. My family had the soup of the day, also delicious, and sandwiches. Lovely interior upstairs in the brasserie.

Popular, varying menu of genuine originality. Excellent and attentive service. Lovely setting. Even getting there is a treat.

Great value Saturday Jazz Lunch set menu. Have always thought that The Chip would be out of our price range, but their Jazz Lunch is great way to experience this famous Glasgow institution.

Fabulous food and service.Extremely small on the portions though. We all left hungry and this is WITH an appetizer. We are fairly small people so it wasn't because we are over eaters. I wish restaurants had photos of their entrees so you would know ahead of time your entree would be 2 small bites of food. But we left there and had wonderful ice cream one block away. No one starved.

Great food, interesting menu and friendly staff in a stunning venue- what more could one ask ? The cocktails were different too - with a really excellent choice. We only ate 'were' portions but managed, started, mains and dessert as a result which was lovely.
