Description: Situated on Mitchell St, Barolo Grill is two minutes walk from Central Station, Queen Street Station and the Buchanan St Underground Station. Ideal for a business lunch in one of our comfortable booths, celebrations and large parties, graduations and even just to take the weight off your feet while shopping with a well earned glass of Prosecco. The clue is in the name, as they say - and Barolo Grill is no exception. We pride ourselves on our top quality Scottish steaks, meats and seafood, cooked to perfection, and served with a contemporary Italian touch. Our extensive wine list offers the best in Italian varietals, and of course a superb selection of Barolo wines. We also specialise in superb focaccia and pizza, baked in our traditional Italian pizza oven and topped with fresh ingredients.

We came as a table of 4 and all had the 3 courses for £19.95 deal. All of us never took dessert as we were so full from the meal. Huge range of foods to pick from considering we were on a deal. Waitress was very helpful and discussed a meal I had selected with me to tell me it was quite spicy so I changed my mind - was very appreciative of her advice. Will be back!

We made a last minute booking for Barolo as the restaurant we had originally booked decided to close for the holiday Monday! The surroundings were very pleasant and the staff attentive and helpful. We chose from the daily lunch menu which suited all of our group, including those with special dietary requirements. The food was very acceptable and everyone enjoyed what they had. Would certainly eat here again when in town,

5 of us spent a long and relaxed Tuesday afternoon here catching up with family we had not seen for over 50 years. We were not rushed in anyway and staff were attentive and eager to help. Food was tasty and well prepared and they provided a discount voucher to pay for parking in NCP car park directly opposite.

After careful assessment and consideration of available options on a wet Monday evening, we decided to try Barolo. It looked inviting enough from outside and the menu was different.

Whilst some of the food was indeed good (but not memorably so) what let it down was the rather haphazard service - we had to go chasing the bar tender for our wine order ten minutes after the waiter disappeared) and the uncomfortable upright seats in the banquettes. Once they got into their stride things did pick up a little. It was "OK" but not sure if it would be worth a second visit. Maybe just an off night. Better than a chain of course.

1st time in here since change over to Barolo Grill and wasn't disappointed. Warm welcome from the staff the minute we walked in the door and shown to our seat. Food was great pasta with chicken was delicious, rump steak perfect too and great coffee.
Couldn't fault a thing and felt very relaxed and not rushed at all like some places. Will be back here soon.
