Went to Glasgow for concert at Hampden Park stadium.
Hotel reasonable costs, included free parking and breakfast.
Arrived a little early for 2pm check in, so we're provided coffe and luggage storage, whilst we waited. Set in the adjoining bar, grill house, which was very nice.
Room was huge, the single beds were made into a king size double which was nice. Bedding clean, comfortable and fresh.
Staff attentive and helpful.
Breakfast was great, full Scottish, toast, cereals etc, coffee, tea and fruit juices. Couldn't complain at all.
Check in and check out really easy.
The bathroom was small....we were in room 5, but it was clean, with nice towels, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash. Size doesn't really matter.... Who spends a lot of time in there anyway!!
Lovely large windows, heavy curtains to block out the light, perfect. Slept really well.
Windows were easily opened.... Room a good temperature too.... Not too hot.
A lovely traditional B&B, we would happily stay here again, and recommend to others!
The bar is quite trendy and up to date.

Room Tip: 5 was a great room, away from bar area, overlooked car park, so very quiet. We heard no noise at all!

This hotel has had major refurbishment in the last few years and it is well done indeed. Although quite small it has old world features like a nice Victorian staircase yet most of the colours and fittings are sympathetically modern and mix together very well. Wi-Fi is good and free and to get shown to your room is very welcome in these days.

I cannot understand though why such a huge room with 6ft bed yet a tiny bathroom, it is equipped with a lovely shower but the room itself is probably only 4ft deep more like a wardrobe so if you are on the large side you will not be turning round in there. If you sit on the toilet you will bang your head on the wall 'enough said about that'...

They have their own large bar and grill and the food was very good with a good atmosphere the staff very helpful and attentive, they keep a decent pint too which is probably why it was frequented by so many locals.

Another downside breakfast does not start until 7am which if you are on business and want an early start is not so good. The chef only arrives 5 minutes before 7am so no chance of getting anything, actually the whole breakfast experience was not anywhere near the standard of the evening meal, food was very average + the room was dark and grim despite the makeover and modern decor.

My wife and I were invited to celebrate a friend's birthday here. The buffet meal was held in the Private Function suite and the serving and bar staff were very friendly. The bar area was busy and is obviously popular with locals.

Struggled to find a room in city centre and ended up here. Very impressed with size of room , helpfulness of staff particularly the bar staff. Food was excellent for a three star hotel. The only negative was the size of the bathroom. But would strongly recommend to business travellers with a car as an excellent alternative to traditional premier inn etc.

Stayed one night, had trouble getting accommodation in city centre. I know the area well and it is a great location. Giffnock is a dry area on the outskirts of Glasgow; there is a bar attached to the hotel. On arrival was greeted by a number of bar guests standing on the entrance of the hotel smoking their cigarettes; a large ashtray was on the side of the entrance with stubbed out fag ends. Not the best sense of arrival. Smokers should be asked to refrain from smoking on the entrance; there is ample space for them to smoke outside to the other side of the bar.

Girl who took me to my room was very nice, helpful and pleasant in every way. I had room 4. Fortunately I had locked my door and put the key in the lock. When I was in the bath, someone knocked once and tried to come into the room. I phoned down to reception, held for 2-3 minutes - no response. Receptionist also serves in the bar. I was left wondering who had attempted to gain access to my room especially with the reception unmanned.

Breakfast was relatively basic, however this was not an issue as I only eat continental. Staff could do some service training in common courtesy.

No one on reception on departure, hence unable to outline my disappointment.

Room Tip: Take a hairdryer - none in rooms.
