My husband and i had lunch here today and found the food, service, atmosphere excellent. We opted for the bread basket to share with starters mushroom and tarragon soup and seafood cocktail. Mains were pea and artichoke risotto and teriyaki chicken with pak choi and Jasmine rice. Desserts were artisan cheeses with a delicious apple and apricot chutney and chocolate brownie with honeycomb ice cream and chocolate sauce. Scrumptious every mouthful. Highly recommend this little gem in the centre of Glasgow.

Great lunch. Very tasty food. Good value. Will return. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about food and drinks. Good atmosphere on a cold wet and windy January afternoon.

Four of us went for the £16 three course menu to fill in a gap in Celtic connections. We all had the seafood stater which I very much enjoyed. I had the sea bass salad which was fine as I had already eaten a snack earlier. One of of number thought the pasta dish was on the small side and nothing special. Desert of choc brown and ice cream was good and the cheese board looked OK. Overall a quiet time on a Monday but good atmosphere and friendly efficient service.

Visited here with my hubby. We had been given a voucher as a Christmas gift. We booked for an early evening meal, having been in the City Centre for shopping. Urban is our favourite 'go to' when we are in Glasgow. The set menu offers plenty of choice for even the fussiest of eaters. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. Service is efficient, friendly and onobtrusive. I would thoroughly recommend you visit Urban Brasserie

We met two friends here for lunch on a special and we had excellent food in a grand and impressive setting. Situated handily for either of Glasgow's main stations the restaurant is very close to George Square, figurative hub of the city. The special menu offered a good choice and we all had three courses. I started with a really tasty and fresh roquefort, pine nut and pear salad seasoned with a delicious dressing. My main was a succulent chicken breast with garlic mash, a worthy follow-up to such a fine opening and the dessert of ginger cake and rum and raisin ice cream rounded off a perfect lunch. We had bread and oil while we decided what to eat and enjoyed a nice inexpensive bottle of white wine to wash it all down with. Staff were attentive, patient and professional too - I'd recommend this for anyone - £18 for the three courses.
