stayed at Rusacks over New Year what a great location for playing or watching golf. The hotel is comfortable and the public areas are well appointed all the staff very help[ful my only gripe would be the bedrooms are a bit tired and could do with redecoration but all in all a good place to base yourself

Room Tip: ask for a room overlooking the golf course and beach

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights from 26th-28th December.

On check-in we were greeted by a lovely young lady who swiftly checked us in, pointed us in the direction of the lift and kindly provided us with a map of the area.

We enjoyed dinner at the One Under gastro pub which is part of the hotel, and highly recommended. Fair portions, fair prices and a lovely atmosphere (we went on to eat here on our second night too, and not for lack of other choices!!).

Our room had a view over the 18 hole which was unexpected and a lovely surprise. The room had a large bed with 2 wingback chairs and a table inbetween My only (very minor) disappointmenst were a lack of water pressure from the shower and the location of the toilet (only a few inches spare between the bathtub and the wall). Again, very minor gripes and certainly didn't impact on our break!

Breakfast was fantastic. A choice of pastries, cereals and fruit juices and a cooked breakfast. The restaurant used for breakfast was amazing; beautiful decor, a view of the 18th and attentive staff.

The staff at this hotel really go above and beyond. On the first night and the second afternoon, we requested additional milks and sugars for the coffee facilities in the room. We were told this was no problem and they would be brought to our room. No sooner had we got to our room and taken our shoes off than there was a knock at the door! Also, my partner left his phone charger and the receptionist very kindly offered us use of a charger for a few hours.

Would have no second thoughts about returning to this hotel. Amazing staff, amazing location and a wonderful experience overall!

Room Tip: 314: View of the 18th hole. Large bed. Windows on 2 walls

Great location, very friendly staff, beautiful hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, breakfast plentyful, overall a really lovely hotel to spend the night in. Only down side was it was so warm that we had to leave the Hotel to get some fresh air. Not a bad thing given it is Scotland and therefor generally freezing! Would recommend.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 4th floor, absolutely stunnig views.

I have stayed here previously and my most recent stay confirmed that this is a hotel which clearly prides itself on ensuring customers enjoy a pleasant experience. Clean and very comfortable with great service. The waiting staff at breakfast could not be more pleasant. The drinks are very pricey but hey they come with views!

Hotel in a central location with superb views of the Old Course.

Reception and bar/ restaurant areas nicely decorated. Rooms slightly tired and in need of upgrading / poor shower / bath marked.

Staff very attentive. Meals at dinner and breakfast excellent.
