Had a one night stay here, & as l had to be in Edinburgh early l thought was outwith breakfast times, the very helpful lady at reception made sure she passed-on to night porter to give me breakfast before l left, went down in morning & he couldn't be more helpful either, no complaints !

Was a bit disappointed with the hotel this time we have stayed there a number of times, but it has been bought out by another company. On arrival we had to pay up and was told we couldn't put anything on the room had to pay as we got our food. Our room was not suitable as you couldn't see out the window it was frosted and was very small.. So we go another room which was a lovely size but was in much need of updating. The house keeping staff and waitress/waiter's were very nice, such a shame the young lady on the reception was a bit blunt... We have stayed here a number of times but think will be looking else where for another hotel.. The new owner really needs to think about having to pay up front before the room key is given

Went there for High Tea on. Sunday. Had the breaded fish which was good came also with tea but waitress didn't ask if we would have preferred coffee which we did get when asked for . Only other complaint is where is the cake stands now cakes served on plates. I like the traditional High Tea with all the accessories. The staff were pleasant but I feel the new owners should revert back to the traditional High Tea .

There is so much potential for this hotel but it looking very tired. Also I would not recommend the restaurant the food is not great at all look elsewhere to eat if you want a nice meal. This hotel is currently not worth the monies it cost to stay over night

Two couples stayed here for two nights. The hotel is quiet & it was spotlessly clean. We found the staff are extremely friendly & helpful. The town of Kirkcaldy does not have a great deal to offer but surrounding areas north towards St Andrews & south to Burntisland are enjoyable.
