I went out for a meal with my family which includes my 4 year old daughter. We all know that children find it difficult to sit for a long time and my little girl was no different. The staff were fantastic with her and included her in the ordering of the meal and even took her up to choose her own ice cream. She came back to me saying that she had a new friend. Besides being child friendly this is also a nice place to go out for romantic meals as well. The staff are so welcoming and happy to help with anything you need and the food is amazing. The facilities are spotless and tastefully decorated. Would fully recommend visiting.

Fantastic Italian restaurant, has to be the best in Falkirk. Never disappoints with food and friendly and helpful staff. Have tried others and they just don't compare to here. can't wait to return for another visit.

Attended here as part of a family function ... i'll have to admit, i tend to steer clear of Italian restaurants being veggie, i've had many many problems with previous visits to Chianti and Amodo Mio with regards to incorrect ingredients (non veggie) being used on (v) marked dishes, and found staff attitudes poor

However, i have to say the experience here was excellent. I did try to contact the restaurant prior to my visit, and it was a bit hard to get a direct answer, but i was informed that no parmesan was used on veggie dishes which was great to hear given my previous issues with Italian restaurants

Upon attending the restaurant, the staff were warm, friendly, and quite happy to suggest and amend dishes to create a veggie option to my taste, and everyone in the family had a great meal and a great evening

The only reason this wasn't a 5 star review is that i truly do believe that the menu should be marked (v) to help give guidance to veggie diners, although i do have to admit i had no trouble being accommodated on the night, and we'll most definitely be back in the future

Visited Falkirk for a week as it has close links to the Highlands, while also being accessible to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Was recommended Gambero Rosso by a friend, so decided to visit.

It looks very nice - great decor! But took a while for us to get seated by the staff.

We decided to skip the starters, as we weren't super hungry.

My friend ordered the tagliatelle with clams, and I ordered the seafood rigatoni.
The food came, but my friends meal came with penne pasta instead of tagliatelle - not what he ordered. He tells me he was very hungry so decided against complaining and was happy to eat.

Both meals were satisfactory. Not mind blowing, and somewhat bland.

Dessert was great, however. We have the Bannoffee pie and the Panna Cotta which we're both nice.

Wouldn't visit again, though I hear there isn't a great variety of restaurants in Falkirk
