Came here on a Saturday night with a friend. It was an impromptu, unscheduled visit as he had been here before. We knew we wanted sushi/Japanese food but everywhere else was charging £20-£30 for a starter, meal and a drink.
Arrived and despite the restaurant being full and buzzing, we were greeted and seated quickly at a table nearby the entrance. It was a little cramped but we were OK with that.
We both ordered, sharing the Kataifi Black cod and some vegetable dumplings. The black cod dish was unbelievable. The pastry/batter they use is similar to that found on the Middle Eastern sweet baklava (depending on where you get it from). So delicious.
We then both ordered mains - I got the Black cod katsu - and were again both very happy with our choices.
Service was quick and polite despite the place being very busy. And, to top it off, we left having spent around £12 and both very full and content.
Will be back.
