A friend and I stayed here during the Edinburgh Festival, and found it a real home from home.
Smartly decorated and comfortable, on a beautiful crescent in a really nice part of town. It was probably the best part of half an hour's walk to get right into the city centre, but there are buses and it was nice to be away from the crowds during the festival.
There are some nice cafes and shops nearby, and a Sainsburys so you can stock up on essentials if you feel like staying in.
The apartment owner, David, was very welcoming (and very tolerant of our late arrival time into the city, having got the train up from London).
Would definitely recommend.
