We booked for two nights over Hogmanay and really pleased we chose here. Plenty of parking at £10 per night and about a 15 minute walk up hill to the main attractions. There was tea coffee and washing up equipment provided which was welcome. The apartments are warm and fairly modern.

Excellent location, helpful reception, handy M&S opposite. Apartments a little tired, but housekeeping good, good size apartment. Lovely walk into the city or regular bus service. We ate at The Other Place pub along the street, very good. Would definitely recommend Canon Court!

We were really pleased with our apartment - it was very clean and warm - and it was nice to have washing up liquid, tea, coffee etc provided. There is a Tesco 2 minutes away and also a nearby Lidl - with M&S just over the road at the petrol station. There are plenty of very nice restaurants nearby - we found plenty walking up to the main town - they were all quite busy which soeaks volumes.

Room Tip: We were in the second building - very quiet

We stayed here for one night on 12th December.

These apartments are in a great location- 15/20 mins walk into the centre, or there are buses running every ten minutes costing £1.60 single or £4.00 for an all day pass.

They are clean and tidy and well equipped.

The receptionist Dorota was particularly helpful and I also observed her providing excellent customer service to other guests.

Couple of things to note: parking isn't free (other reviews said it was), but still a good deal at £10.00 a day. My recommendation would be to make it free as this then really would be a gem of a find.

The bedroom could also do with a blackout blind as curtains are cream and not particularly thick.

There is some background noise if you are staying in one of the apartments looking onto the main road, but not enough to stop you getting a good nights sleep.

It cost at least 50 percent less than hotels I would usually book, leaving more money for activities/excursions. I would definitely stay again.
