Description: Cramond Falls Cafe is situated in a beautiful spot on the River Almond, Edinburgh. We are known for our cakes and scones, our traditional Scottish breakfasts and our warm welcome. We have two large outdoor areas and a cosy lounge with log fire and 16th century doors. Our cafe is a thriving community of locals, tourists, walkers, cyclists, runners, families and individuals - we love dogs, too!

Edinburgh gets so hectic in August, it's nice to escape for a while. Never been to Cramond before, but we got the 41 bus down. Got a recommendation for the Cramond Falls cafe from the tiny Kirk art gallery. Delicious cinnamon scone with sweet crunchy topping and coffee was very welcome. We should probably have enjoyed it even more after our island walk, but the tide timing was against us! Would love to come again.

Four cyclist stopped for lunch. Food was good and there was a good choice. Staff were generally grumpy and did not try to work with customers. Slow and pedantic. Felt we were doing them a favour. I won't be back.

We had walked out to the island and wanted some lunch and coffee, came here as it mentioned a terrace and we had 3 dogs with us. Turns out they're very dog friendly and dogs are allowed inside too. Nevertheless we sat out as the weather was good and enjoyed delicious soup and toasties followed by cake and coffee. Definitely worth a visit, pretty spot and friendly staff too.
