Located beside entrance to edinburgh castle, camera obscura was great fun. It was 12.50 for student as part of a group of 14 people. Suited all ages and each floor fun and interesting. Recommended, something different from just seeing the sights

It is great to know that the whole group had fun and that you quickly discovered Camera Obscura is not just for kids. Adults can have a good laugh, get great photos and be amazed by our Vortex Tunnel, which leaves an even bigger impression on adults... Thank you for your review and we hope to see you again soon

Very fun way to pass time in Edinburgh. A bit over priced but plenty to do and see- no elevators which is bad with 6 floors, bathrooms were being refurbished too. Mirrors could do with a clean inside the attraction.

We are thrilled that you had a fun time with us at Camera Obscura! We are Edinburgh’s oldest tourist attraction, which is one of the main reasons we do not have a lift, as the building is historically listed. But the stunning views from our Rooftop Terrace are definitely worth the climb. Thank you for your feedback and we hope to see you again soon.

Wonderful place to visit for any age. Must see attraction in Edinburgh. Don’t miss the 15 minutes show. Beautiful presentation of old age technology.

Visited here yesterday after hearing good reviews, not enough sunlight for camera obscura show so didn’t see that but did get a discount off entry due to this, other floors had plenty of things to look at, vortex tunnel is the weirdest thing but so much fun. Overall great experience for adults & kids, will be visiting again!!

Hi Jane, and thanks for letting us know how much you enjoyed your time here with us at Camera Obscura. While we’re sad to hear that you didn’t see the show inside the Camera Obscura itself it’s great that you still managed to have such a fantastic visit! We hope to see you again, and on a brighter day!

Really enjoyed the couple of hours spent here, was nice that you got a little tour around Edinburgh using the camera then could explore the floors below. Suitable for all ages and very entertaining, good value for money.
