Just returned from my second visit to Queensberry house in Moffat, the first time of visit was 2015. The owners Caroline and Miles are absolutely fantastic, as a disabled person nothing was too much trouble. This time I was with my husband and he loved Moffat and was very impressed with the standard of accommodation at the Queensberry House. Lovely supporting mattress and rooms well decorated and maintained. The location is good as access point when travelling to The Highlands, but the town is really worth visiting in its own right. Restaurants, pubs with entertainment and plenty of shops are on the wide road through town and there are plenty of parking places. We went to Annandale hotel in the evening for some entertainment and of course during the day Moffat mill is a must see for some retail therapy.

Room Tip: All ground floor and quiet road anyway so all rooms are good. breakfast is ordered the day before with good choice of food available.

We were met with a very warm welcome at Queensberry House by Caroline and Miles. They were most helpful in providing knowledge of the local area to assist in planning our short break . The room was comfortable and immaculate - the breakfast was delicious and plentiful with ample choice. The porridge was extra special. We would recommend this B&B as a convenient base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland.

Room Tip: we were on the ground floor which was private and easily accessible.

I was cycling through as part of a John O Groats to Lands end cycle. From the second we walked through the door we felt instantly welcomed. Some really great recommendations for the local area. They took good care of my bike and even did my laundry for me! The breakfast was first class. I can't think of anything they could have done to make our stay any nicer.
