We spent two nights at Gretna hall, we got married at the gazebo (we changed our location from the Coach house at the very last minute; it was beautiful and very private just what we were looking for. We were made to feel very relaxed and well looked after. Our party only consisted of us two and our pooch . The food was superb and the cocktail menu was lovely too. We took the option of having our breakfast in our room which was ‘delivered’ on time both mornings. Special thanks to Vicky Nichols who was so lovely and made our stay that much more pleasurable. She is most definitely a huge credit to this establishment.

stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding 2nd /3rd oct,check in was easy,room was up to a good standard,bar serivce was efficient ,surroundings pleasant .
the actual wedding went off without a hitch ( even after someone had set the smoke alarm at 6am for smoking and ruined my only chance of a decent lie in ) only ten people anyway but still a nice service and we also had a 3 course meal in the restaurant after which was excellent.
the only complaint i have was the breakfast was a little cold and also most of our party ( 10 ) requested no haggis and black pudding but still it came out as apparently it was to much hassle for the chef to remove it ?? it left a plate full of food on both mornings for the bin and surely with covid 19 meaning tough times this is surely a waste and cost of food that any business could well do without ??
anyway it didnt spoil what was a good weekend

Apologies for the early morning wake up call, which is there for your safety! I have discussed your comments regarding our breakfast service with our Operations Manager and Head Chef to ensure that we review standards with the team and I would like to apologise for the disappointment this caused you.

Despite the issues identified I do value your appreciation of our Hotel and accommodation, bar and the wedding service.

We came here for late lunch/ early dinner after I got married and we had our parents with us. The service was great, the food was excellent and the price was amazing for what it was! Also impressed as my mum is a vegetarian and she had multiple, great options which is rare! We were alone in the restaurant for most of the time and it was very relaxing, but the staff remained professional and friendly! :)

We visited the restaurant after celebrating our Anvil Blessing at the Gretna Green Blacksmiths Shop.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was excellent.
Would definitely visit again if in the area again.

Stopped by here after being directed by the nearby blacksmith’s attraction. We received the blacksmith blessing here in 1993, when it was called the Blacksmiths (now renamed and confusion as name now refers to attraction next door). Staff were very helpful in allowing us access to the anvil without booking and allowing us to take a few photos.
