Stayed here with my family of 5, plus another family of 5. The house is truly fantastic, very classy, and well maintained. The location is minutes from downtown and the harbor. The owners were very pleasant (though I think the size of our party, with older teens and young adults, made him just a bit anxious). Breakfast was great. The only thing I wish the house had was a common room. Recommend.

Cheerful, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful owners of a pretty B&B - had the sun come out we would have enjoyed sitting on the terrace, but the rooms were large and the top floor rooms have a lovely view (twin). Breakfasts were amazing, and in room everything was thought out with great selection of tea/coffee/biscuits. Clean and modern. Location perfect for zipping into town or catching a ferry.
Highly recommend - the best B&B we had during this stay in Scotland.

It has been nice to stay here. Ian and his companion are very nice. Breakfast is good. The rooms are ok an comfortable. The guest house is next to the centre. The only problem: for the first and second floor there's no elevator. If I go back in Oban, I'll get a reservation with this guest House

We spent a lovely weekend in Oban. The hosts of Hawthornbank Jermi and Ian could not be more friendly and welcoming. They gave us advice on local attractions and even booked a tour around the Oban Distillery ahead of our arrival as this is a popular site. We were staying in the Victorian room with a stunning view of the sea. The B&B is situated in a quiet location but at the same time very close to the centre of Oban, which was really good when i.e. going out for dinner - most of the restaurants and pubs are in a walking distance. Parking spot at the back of the property - very handy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Stunning views overlooking the bay, victorian styled rooms
