“Five star accommodation”
Reviewed 28 August 2014 for a stay in August 2014

The Scottish tourist board gives this cottage a three star star rating but it gets five stars from us! Booking and communication with owners was efficient and helpful. Osbourne Cottage is comfortable, homely, warm and exceptionally well equipped. It is in a quiet, rural area, but has easy access to two glorious beaches, a fabulous tearoom and Dunaverty Golf Club. A huge bonus for us was the cottage is dog friendly, we travelled with three small dogs who enjoyed the area as much as we did. This cottage is highly recommended for a quiet, relaxing break whatever the weather!

“So comfortable”
Reviewed 8 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Osborne Cottage has everything in it you could think of (even buckets and spades for kids ,,golf clubs if you want a game ), it is furnished to a very high standard you felt at home as soon as you went in the door, so clean and comfortable with beautiful big rooms ,I really cant say enough good about this cottage I certainly didn't find anything to moan about and because they don't get a good mobile phone signal there is a landline for you to use.Hope to go back sometime .A big bonus is Muneroys restaurant practically next door which is excellent Frances is one of the best cooks and baker around and everything is fresh made ,both Frances and Ian give you a very warm welcome .

“This cottage described in one word...."Excellent"”
Reviewed 21 September 2013 for a stay in September 2013

This was our first stay in Scotland and it was a visit to capture a dream holiday for my wife. You really could not ask for a better self catering cottage than this. Hygienically clean and spotless throughout. The cottage offered all the creature comforts to create a lovely home from home, and a perfect base for all the attractions that we were to pursue. The people within the village were so friendly and made us feel more than welcome. A stones throw from all the major attractions associated with the Mull Of Kintyre, and I was amazed at the historic interests right on our doorstep. Just some of the attractions we visited were; St Columbus's footprint, and the Well, Mull Of Kintyre Lighthouse, RAF Chinook Memorial, Campbelltown, and not forgetting Saddell Bay, where the video of Paul McCartney's Mull of Kintyre was shot in 1977. Offering stunning and picturesque views, this holiday offered us the perfect opportunity to de-stress and relax.
