For me, a hotel must provide at least 3 things: cleanliness, a reasonably comfy bed and a decent shower. If I take my meals there then the food should be tasty with good service.

The hotel met all these. Not great, but good.

We were with an organized tour, so meals and rooms were pre-arranged. The meals were pretty good. The staff was helpful.

As I write in the title, the location is great for the view of the bridge and for exploring Derry. It’s walking distance to museums, the Guild Hall, the old city walls and pubs & restaurants. Tour Derry & the surrounding area!

The WiFi was terrible! Basically we couldn’t use it, which is different from any other hotel we stayed in Ireland. Whether it was the equipment or provider, I don’t know, but in the 21st century you need WiFi like you needed a telephone in the 20th, right? When you’re traveling, you need WiFi to keep in touch.

All in all, I’d stay there again as long as the WiFi was improved and got a fair room rate.

One characteristic of the island of Ireland is the friendliness of the staff. This was certainly the case. It was hard to find any other positives about this over priced hotel. The room was tired, the towels of poor quality, the shower curtain was a disgrace and the breakfast was at best very ordinary. The price of £160 was way above the value. The hotel needs a major refurbishment.

we stayed here for my friends birthday on a girls weekend. The staff was very friendly and the food was tasty and nice big spacious rooms over looking the peace bridge.
This hotel is very central to the shops just through the we carpark across the road from the hotel and a few mins walk and you are into the town

We were in one of the penthouse rooms and the room was great! The bed was comfortable and the decor was very pleasing. The location was very close to the old city walls and the peace bridge, which we had a gret time walking along! The staff was friendly and assisted us in anything we needed!

Our room was dingy, dark and stuck in the 1970's! The lighting was very inadequate, there was a hole in the grubby net curtain and the outside of the windows were filthy! I also noticed that some of the pillow protectors were grubby and the pillows themselves thin and cheap! The TV screen was too small for the vast size of the room. The bar and dinning area downstairs were fine though breakfast could have had more choice and when we dined there one evening I was brought the wrong side order and the correct one never did appear! This is definitely not a four star hotel and I've no idea why it was awarded that in the first place. From some of the reviews I've read it looks like we were staying in a completely different hotel!
