Arkle House is on a quiet lane just off a main road into Derry, about 2.5 miles from the centre. We had a small but comfortable room at the front of the house. Bathroom a bit small but perfectly OK. There is a fully equipped guest kitchen down the corridor; you could cook your own evening meals if you wished. Included breakfast was fine with a very good choice of hot and cold items.
Hosts Sally and Terry were pleasant and very helpful throughout even giving us a lift into town on our first evening. Used taxis otherwise, approx £5 inc a tip. Used Taxi Co. and Foyles. Saffron (Indian) and Brickworks restaurants both good.More
