“O'Briens American Steakhouse”
Reviewed 24 February 2012

Yep, average to poor. Food was VERY average, staff dull and unenthusiastic, music too loud and TV on playing a different programme to the music. What is the overall message here? This is a city centre steakhouse! What a let down! Again, this keeps teh city's food establishments at average (at best!). This city's hospitality managers lack imagination, passion and drive!

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed 10 February 2012

Took advantage of a deal they had on, 1/3rd off the entire menu, and we both had the fillet steaks. They were absolutley beautiful! Tender tasty steak, melt in your mouth! Great service, very swift and pleasant. Beautiful meal at an amazing price! Will be back!

“An excellent family friendly restaurant. perfect if taking the kids out.”
Reviewed 9 February 2012

I took my family to O' Brien's on 29th January for a double birthday celebration for my son and his grandfather. We took our 13 year old daughter, and our youngest son who is 9 and has autism and finds social settings extremely difficult, which can make a meal out very stressful for all of us.

The service in O'brien's was amazing and the staff so friendly. we were placed in a snug which made it more comfortable for my son who was able to relax and enjoy his meal.
We all ordered different starters mains and desserts hence got to sample most of the menu between us all, and everyone got beautiful food. We don't eat out much due to our son's difficulties but will definitely be back in O'Briens.

All tastes and dietry requirements were met in this fabulous restaurant which my kids said was cool place to eat. Praise indeed!!!

“Mediocre food, staff rude and verbally abusive”
Reviewed 2 February 2012

This restaurant used to be okay but has really gone downhill. The food is not great and on our most recent visit the staff were extremely rude and were actually verbally abusive and threatening towards our party. I would never go to this restaurant again.

“warm, friendly and beautiful food”
Reviewed 30 January 2012

went with partner a few weeks ago, warm friendly and great food, service was a treat to be had, for def's going back, and guess what really great prices. Added bonus to all cinema goers, they've got a movie menu, get food a drink and recieve a movie pass, can't beat that now especially in this hard times. So for all you cinema goers, meal drink and movie for two works out about £30 pound, great or what....suits me...
