The food & wine was gorgeous, the staff were extremely helpful, The menu was very varied, from burgers to fabulous Irish seafood. can't wait to eat here again.

This was a superb experience, great choice of menu for young and old, nice and reasonably priced wine, and the staff were really friendly and helpful
Highly recommend the daube of beef but in fairness it all looked good, loved the atmosphere and a big thank you to Sonya and the staff.

We were staying in the Slieve Donard hotel and had pre booked a table in the Percy French.
Very friendly manager and waiting staff.
We ordered deep fried brie which came strangely enough on a bed of shredded iceberg lettuce and some large orange slices.
The large orange slices showed up again on the desert, must have had a job lot.
Food was nice, steak cooked to our liking and wine was excellent.
Overall a nice experience.

Mid week lunch not too many people around but yet the service was less than attentive to say the least and had a rather long wait. Drinks and meal had to paid separately probably because you may get fed up waiting and walk out. Eventually we got a table in a rather dull restaurant but with a nice view. The food did arrive and really it was not worth waiting for. I take it is still part of the Hastings Hotels but there was no Hast. I will be avoiding it.

As a fussy London type, I didn't expect to be blown away by the Percy French but I absolutely was. Recent revamp has given the place a real lift but what really delighted was the service & the food. Ingredients were fresh, local, of the best quality & artfully put together. Smoked haddock main was divine with all flavours perfectly pitched & balanced. Whiskey cheesecake was better than my own mother's! Staff were friendly, knew the menu & genuinely seemed to be enjoying their jobs.
Intend to return often & work my way through the menu & can't wait to introduce friends to the wonderful view of the sea. Feels like what Newcastle has been missing for a long time.
