Like a lot of recent reviews I must say the food is decent, however on a recent occasion we had to wait about 40 minutes to place an order, to be overcharged at the end. I raised this and they reduced the bill, but still overcharged.

Won’t be rushing back.

The steaks are fantastic and very large. It's a shame it was let down by the service. The drinks service was slow and infrequent. The food is very good and cooked well.

My family went to this restaurant to celebrate the birthdays of my son and daughter.
We were seated promptly and given a menu by a friendly waitress.
Our orders were taken quickly and, after a short wait of around ten minutes, our meals were served.
Starters, mains and sweets were all appropriately presented and were delicious.
All staff members were friendly, personable and helpful; each course was amended as requested.
The decor was informal and seating was comfortable. The background music was "low-key" and restful.
Staff were dressed appropriately and hygiene in the seating area and restrooms was good.
Prices were reasonable.

The restaurant had no car park but street parking, near the restaurant, was readily available.
A very pleasant experience.

Recommended.

We visited as a family group over the weekend. It was busy but not overly busy. Overall impression was that the food was very good but they could do so much more to engage with the customer. If we have been asked we could for example have ordered an extra bottle of wine for example, an extra drink, etc, but when no one asks then what can you expect. After we received our main course no one arrived back to enquire if we had everything we needed until we had finished.

Steaks were cooked to order, side dishes were generous, sauces were good, dessert choice was excellent.

If anything we felt that the there were too many inexperienced floor staff and no one on the floor assumed responsibility for attending to the customers when they had been seated and placed their order.
