Came in for a quick lunch and beer, chilled and friendly atmosphere, very welcoming staff, and delicious irish stew (not too expensive either)

Our cab driver (from the Murals Tour) was surprised but pleased when we asked to be dropped off at Kelly's. We'd read it was 300 yrs. old so felt it was a perfect pub for a pint. The interior is very quaint with original sketches and woodwork, really interesting and quite amazing to consider the age of the place. It was busy but we found seating and then, since the beer was good and reasonably priced, we took our next pint outdoors to barrel type seating and enjoyed the good weather. Apparently there is local live music but we were there early afternoon so missed it. The staff is friendly, fast service, and we regret not being there for the music. A must see when in Belfast.

This bar was founded in 1720 and knows what it's doing. The Guinness is excellent, the service straight forward and the atmosphere is real. Also, there's traditional music almost every night and it was really pretty good. Excellent kind of out of the way stop for almost 400 years!
