Tale of Spice is definitely one of my top 5 Indian restaurants in Northern Ireland!

Great place to bring the other half, chill out and relax with a great dining experience.

If you like your curries to have a significant tomato base that overpowers the flavours of chilli, garlic, ginger and corriander then you will be pleased eating here. Unfortunately I do not appreciate a lazy chef who thinks that he can offer an indian curry that should begin and end with tomato base curry, perhaps he is not challenged enough, or the regular customers who eat here, have become used to the to the way in which this restaurant offers its meals.
I had tried this restaurant on two occasions over the past year albeit it was at lunchtime and could not fault it. I now regret spending the £150+ on what we ordered recently. Our party of six ordered different curries ranging from not hot at all to their madras curry which should have been an explosion of heat an flavour to the senses.
Sadly having tried all the curries that we ordered they all had the overbearing taste of tomato throughout. I'll not be back and nor will any of our family.
