What a great time we have had on our first visit to Belfast. The big red buses were a welcome site to get us orientated to the city. After taking the first trip we were able to plan the things we wanted to see by using the hop on hop hop off bus. We used our48hour ticket well. The guides were so knowledgeable about the sights and we learned a few things. They kept us entertained by their own stories and nothing was too much trouble. We were able to visit places we would never have found like the troubled areas. It's worth doing the trip more than once as different guides tell you a different perspective although the stories are the same. Also booked through this company the day trip to the Giant s causeway,, another great day, Alan our driver was so helpful, humorous and full of knowledge. Other cities should come here to see how it's done!!

We had out list of places we wanted to see before arriving in Belfast. We then looked at the attractions the bus stops at and found that anything we had picked in Belfast was on their route. You dont need to worry about parking, traffic, anything. You get on and off at stops you want and the next bus is along shortly after for you to get back on. We were there during Easter Break and they are highly competitive with the other companies. They ended up offering us 2 free kids tickets so don't be afraid to ask for a discount or something free. The on board staff are informative.

It was easy to find (close to city centre), good value and the real live guide was informative, witty and easy to listen to.

I love the Hop On/Hop Off tours in most major cities. The tour guides in Belfast are knowledgeable (though the number of peace walls varied by guide) and great for some laughs, it's just unfortunate for them that Belfast is just a walkable city! For example, to get from City Center to Crumlin Road Gaol (fantastic to-do!) would take approximately 30 minutes to walk leisurely. Waiting for the bus (at least in April, this may differ as tourist season ramps up) was upwards to 30 minutes. If you juuuuuust missed the bus coming out of Queen's University (as we did), you can either stand for 30 minutes til the next bus comes or you can walk 15 minutes back into the city center. If you do not plan to hop off much, the tour is certainly well worth it for the information alone! Otherwise, just hoof it.

We booked our tickets online before our little jaunt over to Belfast for a few days. We had intended getting the last (4pm) tour at Castle Place, but when we got there at 3.40pm it had already left! Luckily the guys on the Titanic & City tour were kind enough to give us a complimentary lift to where we wanted to go! Thanks guys!
Looking at the small print it did state that departure times were subject to demand, so worth remembering!
On the whole though we used the service throughout our two full days in Belfast, hopping on and off various buses, our first being hosted by driver Gary and Lisa our guide. They were brilliant and we learnt so much about the city, interspersed with good humour. Each of the tour guides gave their own slant to Belfast's history and each managed to give us an extra bit of history the previous one didn't touch on! So not every tour guide works verbatim. I did feel a bit uneasy driving through communities in the Falls/Shankhill Road; it felt like I was gawping at them because of the notoriety and violence of the areas and did feel for them.
However a brilliant way to get around Belfast and worth every penny!
