Very beautiful hotel. Was a bank in the past. Very Posh. The room was lovely but very dark. Turn down service was a nice touch. I must say the highlight of the stay was a long soak in the very large bathtub! So relaxing at the end of a two week trip around the perimeter of Ireland.
Aaron our Concierge was just delightful. He made sure to inform us of the rooms amenities and services offered during our stay. He arranged a Black Cab tour of Belfast. It was a great tour but very emotional for me.
We had Tea in the Great Room (which is Great!). So lovely with so much to look at. The finger sandwiches were very good, the Scones were out of this world scrumptious, and the cakes were very good as well. I had the strawberry spearmint tea and that was very good as well. The service could have been a bit better. On the 3 occasions we ate in the Great Room we felt a bit abandoned by our server. On two occasions we had to find the head waiter/manager to settle our bill.
I would love to stay on the Art Deco side next time.
Overall the stay was very nice and comfortable.More
