Lovely classic old Victorian building. I love the fact you can wander in a wander around and no one cares. I was exploring and stumbled across the Great Hall, which looks like a miniature version of Hogwarts great hall. Worth a Look!

Lovely architecture with great things to do in the surroundings - lots to see and do around the main building!

We were walking back into Belfast from the Museum and as we had never looked around the grounds properly, we decided to have a look.
It's a beautiful building and really nice to walk around the grounds and admire the splendour.
Thoroughly enjoyed.

But that was built at the same time. Apparantly Queen Victoria visited here in 1848 to opena new wing, stayed for only 3 hrs , did not like N Ireland and never returned. Was surprised to see a statue of Galileo in the foyer. Also there was a Canadian room, where I am from

Queens University if the most prestigious university in North Ireland. It was founded and visited by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. N.I residents are right to be proud of the univeristy, its buildings and grounds are truly impressive.
