“Great spot for gigs”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

I've seen Daniel Bedingfield, Bryan Adams and Josh Groban here. Three very different types of performers and a great space for all of them. Staff are good and there's loads of information available on other upcoming gigs.

“Beautiful auditorium”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

This wonderful addition to Belfast's general range of auditoria is very welcome. I've been to many events there, from classical through Blur, Bjork, Sting. Many great memories. A wonderfully designed building, and very well catered to deal with big events. worth seeing, even if nothing is on, just for the views etc.

“The Hilton hotel must be doing nicely out of the parking!”
Reviewed 16 February 2012

Took the kids to see a Xmas panto which was brilliant, loved it. Two complaints which stop me rating this place as excellent.

1) The parking. There is no exclusive parking for this venue. No parking allowed on the road directly outside and you risk having your car towed away or clamped if you do. Most patrons have to resort to using the Hilton Hotel car park which gets seriously crowded when a show is on. On leaving afterwards, if you did not park on the very top level you can be waiting ages to reverse out of your parking bay on the lower levels as those who parked on the top descend at full throttle. This car park is expensive and the Waterfront should negotiate a discount deal for their patrons using this car park as there is really no other choice for out-of-towners.

2) Refreshments at the ground floor bars: the soft drinks are a ridiculous price, I mean come on...small bottles of soft drink at restaurant prices. Not good. Would have cost our family of four - two adults, two under-tens nearly £11 for four soft drinks. Next time I will take a large handbag and our own drinks.

Very nice venue though and acoustics in both performance halls are excellent.
