Just popped in for lunch. Probably the best chowder I have eaten anywhere. Served with hot caramelised lemon which added to the flavour . You may have to queue but worth it

My partner and I visited Harlem Cafe for breakfast during our recent trip to Belfast. The staff and owner were hugely helpful and very friendly. Being both celiac and lactose intolerant I can struggle to find places to eat out, but practically the entire menu could be made gluten free. Brilliant value for money, with our bill for two breakfasts and two coffees coming to under £30, and very high quality food. Will definitely come back and can't wait to try the evening menu!

Tip: book in advance - we had hoped that we could get a table for dinner on a Saturday evening but the restaurant was fully booked all evening (and I'm not surprised!)

Step back take a breath and enter one of Belfast Hippest Cafè/ restaurants .
Wales are covered with iconic poster , albums covers & photographs.
You will be greeted by enthusiastic staff who genuinely want to please you . Food is good and wine selection compliments the dish you have . Lucky enough to have live music while we ate .
Even your experience to the toilets is a delight .

I seriously can't recommend Harlem cafe highly enough - I popped in at lunch today to have a quick catch up with a dear friend - experience from start to finish was 101% - from friendly staff especially Kirsty our waitress to the most delicious fish chowder I have ever tasted it is an experience worth trying - make sure to visit Wednesdays or Fridays as only days serving the freshest chowder ever - great start to the weekend - thank you Faye and Harlem

Good range of food. Contemporary feel. Staff attentive.
Only complaint from my wife was that ladies toilet doors could not be locked. Apparently it was restaurant policy although strangely enough the men's toilet cubicles were lockable. Not much logic there!
