This was recommended to me by a lovely lady on the hop on hop off bus tour (also great) as a more in depth history, and it exceeded my expectations. I was there doing research for a fashion degree project but actually got so much more from it. My tour guides were fantastic. They recalled in detail their memories of what happened as well as giving us the history and first hand facts. It was fascinating, harrowing, heartbreaking, at times inspiring, I just couldn’t sum it up in one word. The murals are amazing pieces of art and so interesting. It really hits home how recent this really was and how raw this still is for some. Just go and do it! I will without a doubt recommend it and have even insisted that when we organise a girls trip to Belfast that we do it. I had very limited but biased knowledge of the troubles so am really glad I did this. I have come away with a new found knowledge of the troubles and a love for Northern Ireland.
