Review of Souls Restaurant

Souls Restaurant
Ranked #24 of 1,116 Restaurants in Belfast
Description: The new Souls Restaurant at Belfast City Centre's popular Dublin Road is designed to provide you with a unique dining experience. The food here does not conform to any pre-conceived notions and some of our fusion dishes are conceptually abstract. We have a Menu but our Menu is not restrictive. If you are craving for something that is not on the Menu, speak to our waiting staff and our Chef will be more than willing to accommodate wherever possible. Our tagline, "Gratify your soul" is our perseverance. We have carefully chosen each and every ingredient to satisfy your taste buds, we have craftily selected our wines for your discerning palate and we have purposefully chosen the décor to relax and soothe you. Most of our food is locally sourced and we will be happy to disclose its origin. At Souls, we love hearty and healthy eating. You can ask the waiting staff for healthy options. We are also keenly promoting the local art. The art lover in you can enjoy the intriguing work of renowned local artist, Hugo Smith, who is displaying his work on our walls. In short, Souls Restaurant is really a place to dine and be seen in!

After seeing photos of tandoori platter on Facebook I just had to try. The monkfish was amazing and excellent wine list featuring new exciting Spanish wines. Lovely staff and looking forward to returning and trying other menu options

Four of us tried this restaurant and found it terrific. The food was to die for and the staff, especially Maria the manageress, both funny and helpful! A mixture of European and Asian food well cooked and presented . Would recommend the Belly of Pork, we asked for it to be crispy and it came spot on.

Myself and a friend had dinner tonight after reading the reviews on trip advisor.i don't usually leave many reviews but I had to on this ocassion. I ordered chicken tikka which was £16.90.it came with one naan bread and a variety of what I thought were dips.i expected it to come with rice but was told the restaurant didn't do rice as a side order.i assumed the naan would be enough.however I was v disappointed with the meal. The chicken tikka came marinated but with no sauce and was therefore dry. Thw accompanying dips were nothing more than a few spots dotted on the plate.the naan was v thin. Due to the dry chicken and the dry naan I asked if I could get some sauce.a very small jug was brought out of tikka sauce.whilst it just covered the chicken it was luke warm. I also ordered a portion of chips.i was shocked when the bill came to see that the sauce was charged at £2 and the chips at 3.55. I must sound terribly cheap but for nearly £23 i would have expected a steak, not a dry chicken tikka. My friend ordered the chicken biryiani which was nice but came in at just under 20. Whilst it was fine, if u are gng for an Indian I would recommend somewhere else in belfast as there is much better quality out there. Unfortunately we won't be making a repeat visit.
