Stayed here while visiting a friend in Llandaff. Very clean and welcoming and accommodating in allowing me to book in early as I was to spend the whole day with my friend.
Very pleasant breakfast too, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I'd stay there again.

Room Tip: My room was No 7, top of the shop. But even though it overlooked the road, it was quiet.

Location is good, short walk to the centre. Nice quiet area. Family run, very kind, good service and nice breakfast. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Great B&B where I plan to stay when in Cardiff again.Very good pub next door.

Room Tip: Front of the house

Looking for a very last minute accomodation in Cardiff and I got to this lovely place. Clean and quite with en suite and cooked breakfast for a very reasonable place. Unfortunately I had the front bedroom which was a bit chilly overnight but there were plenty of blankets in the wardrobe!

I stayed here for one night in September 2016. Booked via trip advisor after a last minute change of plan during a business trip. The hotel was very helpful and accommodating, They followed up my booking promptly so I was sure that the booking had been received. I was able to arrange a late arrival although the hotel's normal check in deadline is 8pm. The helpful approach of the staff turned a long train journey with multiple delays, lightning strike, fallen trees, flooding, into a pleasant and restful stay.

The room (room 7) was comfortable and clean. It had an excellent front view on to Cathedral Road which is a quiet residential street very close to the city centre. Breakfast was standard B&B fare but tasty, hot and nicely cooked. I had scrambled egg on toast which tasted fresh. Breakfast is served at one large table which I quite like as you get to talk to other guests if you wish.

Has wifi and car parking although I did not use either this time round.

The location is close to a good pub which does good meals (the Cricketers next door) and several others nearby. It is a short walk (10 minutes through Sophia gardens or Bute park to the centre of Cardiff, Cardiff Castle and museum nearby.
Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Room 7 looks onto cathedral road - very nice view not too noisy.
