Have stayed here often and always found it clean and tidy and good value for money. Not sure how Keith in the restaurant in the mornings manages to maintain a happy smile that early in the day but he does.

Stayed overnight for the Wales vs Republic of Ireland football match. Hotel slightly out of the centre but taxis reasonable. Our room was good overall except for the single bed being quite small. Staff were excellent through. Would stay again

I have stayed in a few Travelodge’s and not been impressed with many of them, but I have stayed here twice now in a family room on two different floors and found the rooms to be acceptable. Carpet could have done with a better clean but the rest of the room was very clean. Receptionist was helpful, parking was free, and walking distance to the wharf and lots of great places to eat nearby, I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Free parking if youget your ticket validated at reception

Stayed overnight for a weekend. Rooms are standard for a budget hotel, but clean with good comfy bed and all the basics. This hotel is well located for Cardiff Bay, the Millenium and Red Dragon centres with good trasnport to the city centre which is walkable. Breakfast was OK with quantity making up for the limited variety. Our room was surprisingly quiet given the number of people staying there and the proximity to the casino.

This seemed like a newer Travelodge compared to others we have stayed in. The location is easy to get to and there is free parking (need to validate ticket at reception). The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the city and 5 mins walk to Mermaid Quay. The reception team were friendly and helpful and we found the room to be sufficient for our stay, spacious, quiet and clean. There was no bath in this hotel, probably as newer. Beware of the lifts - the doors shut really quickly!
