I was given the "Lambing experience day" as a Present from my husband who knows I love anything to do with lambs. The day was brilliant from start to finish. Paul and Liz and their daughter at Aberyddnant Organic Farm were just so friendly and welcoming, as were their very friendly and cuddly dogs. We began the morning with a chat and coffee in the farmhouse and learnt lots of interesting things about organic farming. It wasn't a lecture but a warm and friendly chat which suited everyone in our small group. We were then able to get up close with the newly born lambs. I got to bottle feed a tiny lamb and we all got a chance to mark the lambs with their numbers. The highlight of the day was seeing two sets of twins being born and watching them getting up onto their feet. Just brilliant. Liz served a lovely lunch and again the family sat and ate with us and we enjoyed hearing more about the farm. A fantastic day which I highly recommend. The booking with Good Day out was so straightforward and everything was organised well . Many thanks , I will definitely be back to try another experience.

The piggies are delightful and you can't help but smile as they waddle towards you looking for food. This is was a very enjoyable afternoon out and Helena and her daughter were very helpful and informative. Willow, Holly and Hazel are adorable and 18 month old Babz steals the show as she waits patiently, open-mouthed, waiting for you to drop a pellet into her appreciative mouth! The afternoon tea and cakes is also a nice touch and the group we were in had a good laugh which is always nice. All in all if you love pigs, this is a great experience and I'm sure we'll be back some time soon.

My wife and I walked the pigs in March 2018. There were four pigs when we visited. Babs was 18 months old and fully grown. There were also three piglets, from a different sow. The pigs were all very gentle and friendly. They are kune kune pigs, so even Babs isn't huge, maybe the size of a large dog. It was too lead the pigs through the fields when we visited, so we walked the pigs along the lanes. The pigs did their own thing along the way - rooting, eating pond weed - but also enjoyed being fed. The pigs were gentle enough to take children.

We booked through Good Day Out. Julia was extremely helpful and responsive over email. Helena, who ran the piggy walk, was friendly and a great host.

Fantastic afternoon spent with the piglets Willow, Holly and Hazel and 18 month old Babz who stole the show! I love everything pig related and this was the perfect present for me. Walked with the pigs for just over an hour with Babz setting the pace which we didn't mind at all. She was interested in eating everything in sight. Due to previous weather we couldn't walk by the river but i wouldn't put this as a negative as it was just so much fun to be with the pigs anywhere we went. Met some lovely people and nice tea and cakes at the end. Love the work they are doing here with the pigs and the police dogs. Keep up the amazing work. Would recommend to people of all ages fun fun fun!!

Had a great afternoon. Beautiful location. Piggies and people, all very friendly and entertaining, and the afternoon tea was nice too. Met some lovely people. Only disappointment, which was totally out of anyone's control, was that we could only walk along the lane. Thanks to the wonderful British weather over the preceding few days it was too muddy & slippy to go down to the river. Other than that, a lovely afternoon. regarding coffee shop & picnic area questions below, tea/coffee & a selection of cakes & fruit were provided as part of the deal. there is no actual coffee shop or pinic spot in the area covered by the walk that we did.

Thanks for your kind review. As you mentioned, it has been really, really(!) wet recently so way too muddy for the fields but hope that didn't detract from your piggy interaction.
Hope to catch you again in hot sunny weather,
Kind regards
Julia
