We absolutely love this beautiful bed and breakfast in this stunning location. This was our third stay and we have already booked for number 4. We have stayed in the Handcuff room and the Lawyers room which had amazing views over the river and over to the forest. Both rooms have unique charm and character and are beautifully maintained, comfortable and spotless. The little touches really add to every stay. Breakfast is delicious and we feel totally spoilt! There is choice for everyone and it is clear that a lot of care is taken. Richard and Tanya are wonderful hosts who take time to make sure you are well looked after and have great knowledge and passion for the whole area which they are happy to share. Thanks again for a lovely time at The Courthouse and looking forward to next time.

My wife & I stayed here for a week. On arrival, we were welcomed with a cup of tea & chocolate cake, which we had in the garden by the river. We found the premises to be spotlessly clean & very comfortable. Richard & Tanya, the owners, did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. It was my wife's birthday during our stay, & she was very touched by the fact that they decorated our room with balloons whilst we were out for the day, & gave her a card & a little gift. I have no hesitation in recommending the premises, we hope to return in the future.

The first thing to notice about the cottage is that it is extremely pretty. With a Lovely garden and the river passing by and beautiful hills beyond, i wont ask for more.

They have a good parking. Also very well located, just behind the station, highstreet, walks and pont-y-pair is just 5 mins walk around.

The hosts are great and helpful. The whole process is very systematic and well managed. The usual check in time is 4pm, but we came at 11:30 am without any notice. Still they welcomed us in and allowed us an early check in without any issues.

Our room was very pretty, neat and tidy.

The breakfast room is amazing, like a conservatory, giving you views of the lovely garden, river and the hills. The breakfast as well was very delicious.

The only issue is the wi fi which is very weak, but it is mentioned in the files that it is due to the weak wi fi in betsw-y-coed itself...

All in all, we are definitely coming back here and definitely recommended for everyone else.

Thankyou Richard and family for your excellent hospitality. We had a wonderful stay at The Courthouse. A lovely welcome of cake and hot drinks when we arrived . The whole time we had a real feeling of nothing being too much trouble and lots of information being available about the area of we needed it. Perfect location in Betws y Coed as well, easy to walk to most places in the village. Couldn't hear the dawn chorus in the morning which, whilst lovely, was a bonus not waking up too early. The water power in the shower wasn't the best but everything far overshadowed this. Lovely location right by the river as well, we didn't use the garden as it was too cold but I bet it is lovely when the weather is warmer.
