We stayed for two nights as a group of 11 and had 6 of the 'lodges' which are very nice bungalows set behind the hotel, you can park right outside your door. It was ideal as we could pop in and out of each other's with ease. It far exceeded all our expectations the rooms are spacious with a sofa, huge super king bed, lovely bathroom, patio doors to a little patio are. The food at the gala dinner was fantastic and very good value for money, every course was delicious. Breakfast was first class too, the bacon was superb. The staff are superb, so helpful and friendly, and seemed to be there all the time.
The town is just a short walk from the hotel with great shops, cafes etc.
There is a pool at the hotel which some of us used, a lovely bonus.
We are planning a return visit in the summer.
Highly recommend a stay at this Hotel.

Room tip: We liked the Lodges at the rear of the hotel, although we didn't see the hotel rooms.

Stay was for a couple of nights last minute, first nights sleep was very bad due to the heat in the room, lost a few hours in the morning of our planned walk! spoke with the young lady in reception, Sheridan is a star lady she looked after us, put us in another room one of the lodges. Nothing was too much trouble, Sheridan even helped with our bags to the new room so we didn’t waste anymore of our day. What a very nice young lady. All the staff we spoke with, very helpful. Thank you

Visited again last weekend. Weather not great but no big deal when you’ve got a great hotel as your base. We had a lodge room and found the large room, warm and cosy, huge bed, gorgeous bathroom and generous hospitality tray. No complaints whatsoever and at just £89 for B&B was a great bargain.... we’ve stayed in the same village in far inferior rooms at greater cost. The added benefit of pool, jacuzzi and steam room is just great to fill in an hour or so on a wet afternoon. Really is a fab setting and walking distance to all Betws has to offer. Will definitely stay again. Thanks especially to Lowri on reception.....great service.

Spent only one night at the hotel and did not regret it - the room was good, the reception was kind and helpful, helped with the first-aid kit and printing the letter. In the evening we went to the pool - it was nice to swim and go to the hammam. Breakfast was good, the staff was great.
Taking into account the pool, we received more than expected. Hotel recommended!

We have just had a 2 night stay in one of the lodges in the hotel grounds. Really spacious, clean & comfortable with a big comfortable bed. Not sure how hotel ratings work but this has a 3 star rating but not 3 star in my experience more 4 star.

Enjoyed two evening meals in the hotel dining room as the food was so good we didn’t want to eat elsewhere. Great buffet breakfast although you can order freshly prepared food as well. Nice bar area as well to sit & have a drink. All the Staff were really friendly and helpful giving us tips on what to see & generally providing a really good service.

The swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room was all included in the price. Great facility after days spent walking & the facility’s were very clean. There was also a gym which we didn’t use.

Location is great for exploring surrounding area with plenty of attractions including Snowdonia. Posting on their site today says they have had planning approved for a new facility which will be 4 star so I can’t wait to go back to see it. Will definitely return.

Room tip: Luxury lodges are larger
