The host was very friendly and helpful. We had two rooms, a twin on the 1st floor and a double. The twin was very spacious with a fab bathroom, clean modern decor and a wonderful view of the church and view beyond. You can see the terrifying vertical drop thing at Zip World. The double was at the back with a forest view, not quite as big but comfortable and clean. At the time of our stay the dining room was not open yet due to Covid rules, but breakfast could be taken in the garden, which was lovely, or in the room on trays. Tables were provided for this which helped. We managed to get all 4 of us in the twin , quite comfortably , eating on the popup tables, or on the bedside cabinets pulled out.
Good options, including veggie sausages and hash browns (on menu as potato which threw me at first!)
Great location too, right in the town, near the pubs , bridge, and waterfall.
Covid-wise, hand sanitizer in the halls and rooms, guests are asked to use when entering and leaving.

Room tip: Front side probably has the best views. Ask for table if having breakfast in room. Park at the front on the street near the gate.

We booked to stay here for one night, while we visited the local area and Zip World, with our 4 year old daughter. 30 second walk from the restaurants and shops but slightly set back and higher up which added to the appeal, the grounds are beautiful and full of flowers, the room well exceeded our expectations- spotless, modern, bathroom which looked brand new, very light and airy with a stunning view. The woman owner was so friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough to accomodate us, the breakfast was great, really couldn't fault this place and would definitley stay here again. Our daughter wanted to add to this review by saying, "I really loved the room and the shower was brilliant. I also liked the breakfast and you're very kind". Thank you for a lovely stay!

Just returned from a lovely 4 days here. We loved our time and Hazel and family made everything so easy despite covid stuff. Breakfast was room service every day and there were no compromises, it was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble either and the guest house is in an amazing location for the town centre and surrounded by beautiful gardens and stunning landscape. We would highly recommend! Thanks

We visited this beautiful property during partial lockdown and the family had everything planned to perfection to keep everyone safe. Our room was stunning with a fantastic view of the church and countryside beyond. Breakfast was delivered to the room each morning due to the partial lockdown and it was great quality with plenty of choice and a take away option if you didn't want to eat in your room. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome indeed. There was secure storage for cycles and motorbikes which was great. We will definitely be back if we are in Wales again.

Room tip: We were in room one with a huge very comfy bed and great views.

Just back from 2 nights here. Lovely, clean and perfectly situated place. The owners were really nice and welcoming. They gave us a great tip for a picnic spot on the River which really made our day. Breakfast is very good. Betwys y Coed is a beautiful town in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales. Thanks to Hazel and Steve (I think), for helping to make our first break away from home since the lockdown one we will never forget...

Room tip: Room 4 has an excellent view of the valley and church opposite
