Great family atmosphere with lots of space. Recommend booking as high season could be tricky.
Fairly regular fayre. Very good smoked mackerel pate with toast. Welsh lamb was delicious but portion on the small size..I really don’t mind what is charged (within reason of course) but when you are looking for a truly hearty Sunday lunch you might consider alternative haunts.
Good desserts. All round a nice family get together in pleasant surroundings...nice trinket shops in the area.

Saracens Head is a lovely pub, where we have eaten good food well cooked. The soup of the day and the Haloumi salad were perfect for our dinner. The service is very good, very nice people here. The pub is ideally located close to the river in Beddgelert.

Beautiful views amd i imagine in summer itd be lovely to sit outside on thr terrace or in the beer garden! Will be back on our next visit!

Called in for tea Saturday night. It was very busy...We opted to sit in back room as had a nervous dog with us. Service was good as was the food. No issues whatsoever.

After a fantastic walk to Gelerts grave and following the loop around the Sygun Copper mines we decided to try The Saracens Head, we have been into the village many times and have never been in so we decided to try it out and I am glad we did. Not only was the food fantastic but the service was brilliant, the ale was great and the staff are all 'dog lovers' which made it even better for our little pooch! Food section was great and providing a dogs menu was the cherry on top. We highly recommend to anyone and I am sure we shall visit next time!
