Visited on many occasions and had some great food here. I love the homemade burgers. They are massive and well worth the money. I recently had the Sunday roast. I had lamb and all the trimmings it was delicious and again was really good value.
If you're staying in Llangollen its a lovely walk along the canal to the Sun Trevor taking about 30mins. They have a nice outside seating area and the pub is dog friendly.

We were on our way home via Llangollen and spotted the Sun Inn at Trevor and decided we were too hungry not to stop and have a bite to eat.
So glad we did. It was relatively quiet as it was about 3.30pm. The bar lady was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Some of the meals were unavailable due to a very busy weekend (The weather had been very nice!!)but that did not spoil our choice from a good selection on the menu from light bites to burgers or salads and full on main courses.
I chose a salad with strips of delicious beef which were cooked perfectly and very tender. Highly recommend. My Husband had a Bre and Cranberry burger in a Brioche Bun from the specials with what can only be described as the “Best Ever” home cooked chips (yes I did have to pinch a couple!!) We had a pint of larger shandy and a coke and the bill came to £26 which was very reasonable for the very good quality food served.
We sat out in the beer garden which although is by the main road, is set up away from it on the hillside, and had the most amazing countryside views. It was a lovely warm sunny day which obviously added to our enjoyment.
We will definitely be back on our next travels in this area.

Family of 4 and our dog enjoyed a lovely lunch on the way to holiday cottage.
Fish and chips, Cajun chicken and burger were all good and also the veggie burger. Friendly service.

Staff were extremely helpful and offered samples of each of their traditional beers before we made our decision and although we didn't eat here food looked very good. The landlord was very friendly and extremely helpful and we'll definitely return if in the area again
