We were a group of 2 couples, 2 adults, a baby and a dog. There was ample room for all of us. Penlan cottage was everything you could possibly want. The kitchen was equipped with all mod cons, and some gadgets you probably wouldn't even need!
There were loads of dvds, vidoes and cds. There was also a welcome tray of local produce, milk and butter that was very much appreciated.
The surrounding area had some lovely walks. Carrog train station was just around the corner. You can get the steam train from here to Llangollen, a definite must if you get the chance.
We would love to return here in the future. Thanks for having us!!

Base for WRC Wales Rally GB, absolutely stunning views and great location. Unbelievable standard of premises for rental, it felt like it was your own home therefore you want to respect it and want to be considered for next year. The whole experience was not to be forgotten for next year. Not Ideal with no parking but the landlady of the Grouse Inn was more than accommodating and would be rude to not have the odd pint as passing through!

could not fault anything at all...the house was spotless ..it was like home from home..spent most of the week sat on the patio ..with the good weather...central to all other attractions..and we would certainly book again..thank you so much ...could not fault anything at all

Tranquil setting for a house that lacks nothing. We stayed for 4 nights mid July spending most of the time on the patio over looking the river. In fact watching our son catch fish which we cooked on the bar-b-que. We also made use of the local pub which served great food, We are planning to go back later in the year. Highly recommended.
