Went here as part of a group staying in The Llanwenarth Hotel which forms part of the site. Found the food tasty and wholesome but the restaurant itself looked if a refurbishment would be in order particularly the decor. For example the carpet near where we sat had a significant tear where it had worn creating a potential trip hazard for the unwary. Breakfast at £8.95 we found a tad expensive particularly if you did not want the full Welsh breakfast but with local bacon you couldn't fault the cooking. For an overnight stop in the hotel the restaurant would be handy. If you are used to an evening meal closing at 4pm on a Sunday was somewhat inconvenient.Only used the set menu as the a la carte menu would have made our stay even more expensive! We were here for both breakfast and an evening meal.
