“A great place to stay”

We were in this great hotel in June 2014, very nice area and unusual hotel. Always dreamed to sleep in the farm and finally we found out this place. Very suitable for romantic holiday. The room was very clean, tidy, nice small:) Breakfast was amazing! A little bit a problem that you can hear some sounds when the people walk on the stairs BUT we didn't care about it, we just enjoyed:) Strongly recommended!

Hi Veronica,
Thanks for your kind comments. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Celyn and that we were able to help you realise your dream of sleeping on a farm. Thank you for your constructive comments about people walking on the stairs and it being noisy- I will look into that.
We hop to have the pleasure of welcoming you back someday.
Kind regards
Sarah

“Booked this for someone else, so pleased!”
Reviewed 12 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Myself and my partner booked this on behalf of his parents who wanted a weekend away. they have very kindly offered to let us move back in with them so we could save for a house so i wanted to make it that little bit more special and booked wine and chocolates to be in their room on arrival. this was VERY reasonably priced and Sarah could not have been more accommodating if she tried. upon their return they were waxing lyrical about the BnB, about how wonderful the view was, how lovely the rooms were, how well they slept there, how scrummy their vegetarian breakfast was and how welcome they were made to feel by Sarah and Collin(?). they enjoyed their 2 nights there so much they asked to stay an extra night, which luckily for them was available due to a cancellation. since returning 2 of their friends have also booked to stay at ceyln farm, and i have to say myself and my partner are just trying to work out when would be a good time to visit too, we cannot wait!

“Stunning B&B”
Reviewed 10 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Two nights bed and breakfast was too short a time at Celyn Farm. Beautiful scenery, quiet location. Our hosts Sarah & Colin had really thought about what their guests might need in the room, and the Welsh Cakes and fresh milk was a lovely extra..Great breakfasts including scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. We stayed in one of the loft rooms which was spacious and ticked all the right boxes. We hope to stay again soon.

Colin and Sarah could not have made us more welcome. An added bonus is that Colin knows everyone locally, so you get a welcome wherever you go when you mention him. Super breakfast, lovely room with a huge bath. Take your slippers though....new, pale carpets!

Hi Val,
Thanks for your lovely comments. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at the Celyn. Colin will be especially pleased to hear your comments and I will be sure to pass them on to him. Yes we have cream carpets in the bedrooms - lovely carpets but we have them steam cleaned a couple of times a year with a specialist carpet cleaner to make sure they continue to look as good as new.
Thanks again and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back someday.
Kind regards
Sarah

“Beautiful place”
Reviewed 29 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Had an excellent stay here. The setting was beautiful, perfect for exploring the sugar loaf mountain and other lovely walks by the river. Our room was very cosy and we enjoyed one of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time! Great place to stay for a relaxing get away in the beautiful Brecon Beacons
