“Booking again...says it all!!”
Reviewed 3 April 2015 for a stay in March 2015

A lovely, cozy cottage nestled away in the Snowdonia Mountain Range. A gem of a find and perfect forgetting away from it all. Clean, warm and everything you could need to make it a perfect stay. Rebooking again for later in the year. Thank you!!

I stayed for 4 nights and went to Beddgelert, LLanberis, Caernafon, Criccieth, Pwllheli and Anglesey. A great base to explore North Wales seaside and mountains. The cottage has all the essentials you could want and is stocked with entertainment, tourist information maps and is ideal if you are looking for a quiet retreat. A car is essential as the nearest shops are in the next village a couple of miles away. If you have mobility problems the staircase is narrow and steep and the garden is on split level but is really lovely. The rooms are nicely decorated and the towel radiator in the bathroom makes the whole room warm. Would stay again and recommend to friends and family. The price you see is the price you pay ,no hidden charges. The owner is very infomative and sends clear instructions on what to do on arrival and departure.

“A cosy hideaway from the Welsh weather!!”

Unfortunately our stay in the shadow of Snowdon was somewhat overcast (it blew a gale and rained heavily for about 50% of the weekend! However in spite of the weather we still had a lovely time, and really enjoyed being in the cottage which was really well kitted out with everything we needed for a peaceful break. We played scrabble, cooked hearty food, and ventured out to see the copper mines and Inigo Jones slateworks which we'd thoroughly recommend and the cottage is really well located to get to both from. We managed a good walk around the lower slopes once the mist had cleared which was lovely, and apparently we'd have needed icepicks and crampons to get to the summit anyway, so it serves us right for going in March!

A family of 5, we spent 3 nights in this holiday home and wish we could have stayed longer. It is ideal for a holiday. The house is comfortable and has all you need.....lovely shower, well appointed kitchen etc. And the location is ideal. A beautiful spot and close to mountains, lakes, walks, castles, steam trains, museums etc etc. Thank so much for sharing your home with us.
