Pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Recently refurbished -lovely room, fab shower and lots of space at a bargain price. Also right in the centre of town. The only drawback is it was a little noisy due to the pub below. Not a major problem, though. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us.

We appreciate your comments made about the room - especially as we had the refurbishment back in August! It's wonderful to hear that the room are still reaching all of the right boxes!

I apologise for the noise from the pub below - as with a bank holiday, not all of the noise can be controlled. We are pleased that this wasn't too much of an issue for you though!

We look forward to seeing you again soon!

In last month been here twice first time was originally for a week but left after 1 night, different room the next time and stayed 3 nights to much hassle to move.

Both times issue was with the noise in the building at night and it wasn't caused by punters. First time it was due to the water system filling up near my room , it sounded like a jet taking off , every 15 mins. Second time it was an unbalanced Fan rubbing against metal and causing vibration. either fix them or supply ear defenders !

Remember if you want to attract the Business sector they need to be able to sleep at night !

Thnakyou for your review! We encourage all feedback so that we can further improve the experience given to guests and customers.

We are very sorry about the noise disturbance you experienced in your rooms on both occasions. I can confirm that we have been looking into the issue in great detail in order to resolve it. It is not something that happens on a regular basis and will be fixed at the earliest opportunity.

We always encourage guests to inform us of any problems with their room at the earliest opportunity so that we can resolve them as quickly as possible.

We really would love to welcome you back again!

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night. She got to Worcester by train and the hotel is only a couple of mins walk away. The room was very nice with a very luxurious ensuite shower room. The approach to the hotel is via an alleyway. There were drunk and homeless people congregating at the bus station/train station end. Which did make us feel a bit uncomfortable. You can approach from the other end of the alleyway which is where the main shopping area is. There is a large multi storey car park at the shopping centre which is a few mins away and the hotel validates your parking to give a discount (ours was £6 for 15:30 - 12:00)
We had a meal in the weatherspoons pub which was just awful. But there are restaurants in the vicinity which looked nice. We would stay here again if we were in Worcester another time.

Thankyou for your kind review!

We are very happy that you enjoyed your room and the en-suite bathroom! The large showers are a particular favourite of mine.

We are very sorry about what you experienced in the alleyway. People are not allowed to congregate there, and we do our best to make sure people are moved on as soon as possible.

We are very happy that you found the car parking to be beneficial.

We are sorry about the meal you had in the pub. We always aim to make sure our guests and customers are highly satisfied with their visit.

We would love to see you back again!

Booked in to the Crown for our annual trip to Cheltenham with friend.
Very efficient and friendly staff at check inn.
Really impressed with standard of the refurbished room which were great value for money.
The room was spotless during the 3days of our stay.
We found the hotel and Worcester idea for travelling by train into Cheltenham have already booked for next year.

Perfect, had a lovely attic room as in the photos, very nice especially if you are small ;) very friendly book in and check out, only problem is the parking (costs about £6.00 not the hotels fault tho) Cathedral is stunnning, Lots of eating places we went to Pizza express in the town, oh and the 'baggette man' shop is very cheap (almost next door) thanks, Mick.

Room Tip: Quirky Attic room

Thankyou for your kind review! We are very glad that you enjoyed one of our attic rooms! We really feel that they are very quaint!

We are sorry about the parking. With us being situated so centrally, it can be quite tricky to have a car park very close. However, we are glad that you used the Crowngate Shopping Centre Car Park however as that is the closest.

We are glad your enjoyed the cathedral and various eateries around the city!

We would love to see you again soon!
