If you're going to visit the cathedral you'd be well served stopping off here as well, if only to admire another building steeped in history.

We were recommended to visit this by the tourist office, and it is certainly worth a visit, especially upstairs where there are many fine portraits as well as a beautiful ceiling.

Free entry to an impressive building with history. Sometimes a meeting etc can stop all of the building being accessed. Worth a look,

This attractive building is well-maintained and has a bit of history on the façade. The head above the doorway is that of Oliver Cromwell, who was beheaded for his traitorous activities against the crown. The heads in the façade are similarly of other opposition figures who where beheaded, drawn, and quartered at the time.

Really admire the attractive fence around the front courtyard. Take some time to admire this building and the history it represents. There is a nice information section inside, where some souvenirs are available.
