Ethiopian food has been my discovery of the last year - wonderful flavours and a really fun way of eating. You get a sourdough flat bread (injera) that is like a spongy pancake which you can use to dip into gravy and scoop up the vegetable dishes with. All dishes very beautifully cooked; would especially recommend the mixed vegetable dish as you get four different dishes and flavours to try rather than just one with the other dishes. The owner is very friendly and has plans to expand the offering to include live music and maybe other performance. A shame this restaurant is somewhat off the beaten track in a not so attractive looking part of Leeds - but it's definitely worth the trip!

Lovely small restaurant with great staff and fabulous food. It is essential to book to avoid disappointment. Ethiopian food is new to me and I thoroughly enjoyed ht different tastes and textures. The bread was deliciously light. Highly recommend.

What a fabulous little cafe. We had the special; 15 sharing dishes all served on a huge injera. We knew nothing about the cuisine but everything was so tasty and different. Eating using injera is an interesting touch. We'll be back

Abdul helped me celebrate my birthday by closing the restaurant and allowing me to host a private party. The cafe was perfect for the 25 guests who were treated to fabulous buffet followed by a traditional coffee ceremony. It was great to do something a little bit different. Everyone loved the food, the atmosphere and the friendship extended by our host.
