I came for a conference and so this was the obvious place to stay. The hotel is modern and well maintained, my room and bathroom were quite large and everything was provided, the bedrooms are secure with a pass key to gain entrance. The only problem for me was that I found the bed a bit hard and couldn't get comfortable. The restaurant provided a good dinner and breakfast and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The conference room was in another building and signage could have been better but the actual facilities were excellent.

Stayed here for 2 nights, rather cheaper than most chains, and after reading reviews thought I had to go with an open mind. We stayed room only as we thought 13.00 per head was a bit pricey! Located on the uni complex felt safe & short walk to city centre good location for us. It is located in the conference area but very spacious reception very modern & quick check in. We arrived early so left luggage in a secure room. We were on the second floor clean communal areas, room very clean, modern and quite nice. Included in the price was toiletries , iron & ironing board, safe & tea & coffee making facilities. Clean white bedding, very quiet, heard no noise from outside, just inside from noisy conference ladies chatting in high pitched voices as if they were the only ones staying, no consideration. It was a very good stay ideal for short stay, only 2 tiny gripes, room to warm even when turned radiator off & we are used to a king size bed this was double but we slept so,it’s fine. Would stay again and would recommend! Would have loved to have breakfast but got it in the city for 9.50 per head cheaper.

The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable with plenty of charging points. We went for dinner in the restaurant but waiting for about 20 minuets for someone to take our order - they never came!! Tired and hungry we gave up and went to the bar where we waited for 10 minuets whilst people kept being served in front of us. Not really the barman’s fault though as he was on his own and had to deal with both drinks and food orders. When our meal finally arrived they got mine wrong but I ate it anyway because I couldn’t face waiting another hour for the right order to possibly turn up! If you stay here you would be better off going out for food.

Awful, cheap bed!
Everything else was on budget.
Great staff. Good breakfast. Nice bar. Free parking if you ask.
That's it really. Apart from the bed it was fine. But we booked it as my wife is a student and we wanted a nice bed!!

We stayed here for a Uni open day and it was a perfect location with only a 3 min walk to Birmingham City Uni.
We pre booked carpark 12 which was only a 2 min walk to hotel.
During our stay all staff were friendly, helpful and professional.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfy.

The food in the restuarant was spot on and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice.
So I woukd like to thank the management and team for a 5* stay.
