Warm, professional and helpful receptionists, best I have found anywhere - and the star was Juliana.

Clean, spacious and well-appointed apartment-style suite. Kitchen includes hob, dishwasher, microwave and the bits that you need to operate them. I could live in this suite for, say, 6 months.

Walking distance from most parts of tge city and convenient for trams and buses.

Plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage.

Breakfast is included (downstairs in The Den.) Only thing is that food stored under lights does not remain hot.

Tips - it is worth paying extra for a bath, in my view. Seventh floor has an excellent view. Park in "High Street, Birmingham" multi-storey and get ticket stamped in the Staybridge reception, to pay £19ish, instead of £43, for 48 hours. (Found that one out the hard way.)

Definitely somewhere that I will stay again and there are similar suites in 3 other major cities.

Me and my girlfriend chose to stay in the Staybridge Suites for a night out visiting friends in Birmingham. We wanted to be close to the heart of the city and didn't want to spend too much on somewhere to stay for the night. Straight away when we entered the foyer the quality was clear to see. We was welcomed by an smiley guy in reception who was very informative and welcoming and gave us a choice of a low or high floor and mentioned we had booked a disable access room and offered to change if we wanted. We stuck with the DA room and was extremely pleased with the size of the rooms. The bathroom was like a wet room which was a nice surprise. And the quality of the room was amazing for the price charged. Lovely queen size bed with Hypnos mattress, two large tv's, one wall mounted and fridge freezer. The room was perfect as we invited our friends over to have a few drinks before heading into town. Unfortunately during our stay the toilet seat cracked, we called reception to let them know out of courtesy and Ana On reception was nothing but apologetic even though it wasn't here fault and offered to change our room if we required and offered us the option to extend our check out time. By reception the was a very impressively stocked pantry which offered lots of foods and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices too. I will definitely be booking this place up whenever back in Birmingham and also only minutes away from the Bullring shopping centre so perfectly positioned with discounted parking rates for 24 hours if you park in the NCP car park just around the corner. Nothing but a positive and lovely stay. A++++

Just returned from a 2 night stay. Booked through Groupon Deal (£99 for 2 nights, pizza, wine and soft drink). When we arrived we were too late for the pizza but told to let them know when we want it ordered by 8pm the next day. The wine and soft drink had already been chilled in our fridge.
Really friendly and helpful staff on reception.
Great central location, short walk to the carpark ( hotel validate for a reduced cost, so it was £19 for the 2 days we were there).
Good size rooms and nice to have the kitchen area which included a dishwasher and freezer section in the fridge, 2 hobs, microwave, kettle, toaster and all of the utensils needed.
Lots of storage space, iron and ironing board and hairdryer were in the cupboard.
We didn't have a nice view- but we hadn't asked for a high up room and weren't bothered.
There was lots of choice at the breakfast buffet; juices, hot drinks, cereals, fruit cocktail, yoghurt, muffins, croissants, bread to toast, beans, potatoes, scrambled egg, boiled eggs, sausages, bacon, jams, spreads etc and you can take it up to your room.
On the second morning our hot water wasn't working, reception were really apologetic and gave us a key for another room to use the shower and offered us a late check out.
We didn't use the gym facilities.
Would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Birmingham and would recommend to friends.

We had a suite at the 12th floor with excellent view of Birmingham. The suite was with kitchen, living area and double set of windows and the only corcern we had was the bathroom which was for disabled people. That ment the sink was very low and so was the toilet, but it was not a problem.
The breakfast was average with eggs, toast etc.etc, but it was not kept warm enough.
The hotel is centrally located and therefor no parking, but you can use the NCC carpark close by, for £9,50/24 hours. The hotel has an agreement. Staff friendly and helpfull and it is very clean all over the hotel. Fantastic bed.

We had a one bedroom apartment here last year for about a week, my daughter was in the children's hospital and we used this as a base to get sleep taking it in turns to be at the hospital.

The staff were incredible and so helpful as they knew our situation and helped make things easier with food and drinks.

The room was spacious and clean as was the dining areas.

Overall I would highly recommend
